Spring Break 2010!

This week Mimzy was here for Spring Break! PARTAY!! The week began with a trip to the airport to pick up Mimzy. Our first trip to the airport! It was a rainy and cold day...it even snowed!! Popsy drove up on Friday making it to Lubbock in record time.

During the week we visited the mall, United, Wal-Mart, Starbucks, Applebee's, Stella's Daddy's work, Target, Gourmet Pantry, My Cup of Tea, J&B Coffee and Caboose. We even made a visit to the Easter Bunny! Whew -What a week!!

It was a wonderful week. We always enjoy time with family and friends. We enjoy creating memories that Kory and I will keep forever to share with Klaire.

Weekend with Memo and Grandpa

This weekend (March 13th and 14th) Memo and Grandpa came to Lubbock to visit Klaire! We had a great time. We went to lunch and did some shopping. We visited Babies R Us, the mall, Best Buy and Burlington. Klaire did some shoe shopping. She already has a shoe habit! Where does she get this shoe obsession from?!

We had a great weekend. Klaire is very special. She is a lucky girl to be SO loved!

Uncle Kasey

What a surprise!! Uncle Kasey called today, March 12th, and he was going through Lubbock and we got to see him! We met Kasey and his friend Mike at Dion's and had lunch. It was SUPER! Good food and GREAT company!

Susie Time

Happy Birthday Klaire Bear!!

Today you are one month old - it has gone SO fast!

This morning I sang "Happy Birthday" to you and you gave me the cutest smile. It was a wonderful moment. I am not sure yet if you know when you are smiling and if you know what you are actually doing but I love it just the same!

Today we went to the hospital for your one month weigh in and you weighed 8 pounds and 14.4 ounces and you are now 22 1/4 inches. The nurse was very happy with your weight and said you were growing at a great rate!

Park Visit

March 5, 2010 we took our first trip to the park. We visited Maxey park - right across from Covenant, where Klaire entered the world. We showed Klaire the window to the hospital room where we stayed.

It was a beautiful day. Mommy packed a picnic dinner and off we went. We ate our dinner then Mommy and Klaire played on the swing. After some time on the swing we walked around the park while daddy took pictures. Klaire enjoys being outside, she stayed awake the whole time we were at the park. It was a great way to start the weekend!
